Teaching Styles

My teaching style encompasses all learner styles. To keep my students engaged I try to be a facilitator not just a lector.  I want my students to be active participants during lessons.  For my visual learners, I use various visual aides such as flip charts and the use of the Promethean Board or Recordex devices.  For my auditory learners,  I utilize MP3 players where my students can listen and follow along with BEEP lessons.  For my Kinesthetic learners, I allow them to use manipulatives while working independently as interact with the Promethean Board and Recordex devices.  I try to incorporate Inquiry based learning through allowing my students to explore new ways of solving mulit-step problems through the use of research using various resources.   During the inquiry based lesson, students are in cooperative groups and are assigned jobs to help facilitate learning.
